Description

Working alongside the CEO, the Group Finance Director will be part of the senior management team, advising on the best path of growth for the business and will possess overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company.

 

We are looking for someone comfortable with the following responsibilities whilst managing a team of 4.

 

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly Management Accounts for all of the group companies.
  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Collaborate with the executives and directors to create budgets and track key performance indicators.
  • Build and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
  • Present financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Report on actual capital expenditure.
  • Manages a growing finance department.
  • Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts.
  • Oversee and review routine accounting tasks such as Statutory Accounts for all group companies, PAYE compliance, Insurance cover, VAT reporting and Corporation Tax submissions (including R&D claims).

 

Our client values professionalism & accuracy. The successful candidate should have extensive finance experience and must already be working at Financial Controller and above.  Ideally you will have experience of the family-owned, SME business environment and have considerable time as a fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA finance professional.
