Description
Our client is a global manufacturer in gift and lifestyle products with a reputation for excellent quality and great service.
 
They are now keen to recruit a Merchandiser Planner/Analyst to add to their team. This role has the scope to be part time or full time.
 
The main purpose of the role will be to analyse sales data, forecast future trends to produce reports that will allow the implementation of inventory strategies to maximise sales and profitability. 
 
Key Duties: 
  • Developing merchandising strategies to reach financial goals. 
  • Analysing historical sales data and forecasting future trends. 
  • Monitoring stock to ensure optimal inventory levels. 
  • Utilizing technology to streamline processes and increase efficiency. 
  • Implementing plans to optimize seasonal and holiday sales. 
  • Co-ordinating with colleagues and other teams to ensure product availability. 
  • Generating regular reports. 
 
If you have the following experience and attributes, then we would like to speak to you:
  • Experience in merchandising planning or data analyst role. 
  • High level Excel and MS Office suite proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Excellent organisational skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication. 
  • An analytical mindset.
 
Salary:
  • £28,000 - £31,000 (Full Time or Part Time Available)
