Description
About the Company:
A respected market leader within the commercial interiors sector, who have experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years are looking to strengthen their team with the key recruitment of an additional Housebuilder Key Account Manager within the housebuilder and social housing sector.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Housebuilder Key Account Manager to take on the challenge of penetrating various aspects of the housebuilder and developer market through key clients and specifiers that operate within the sector.

As the fast-growing construction market evolves at pace, your role will be to keep at the forefront of the market and new projects – spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products and customers; and proactively creating openings to sell in products and bring new customers on board.

You’ll have all the tools to do the job: the broadest product range, great delivery support and top-class customer service. You’ll need to leverage your potential through your customer relationship building skills, tenacity and drive to build and grow the area.

Specifically, You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Developing a customer list across the UK.
  • Creating a specific business plan to proactively identify and target growth opportunities.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and potential customers at all levels of the customer hierarchy, in order to provide support and develop awareness of the company’s products and services.
  • Selling and influencing the sale of products and services within margin guidelines.
  • Maximising the sales of all products across different applications (by market sector) to ensure the highest margin opportunity can be achieved whilst ensuring billings targets are reached or exceeded.
  • Identifying, recording, monitoring and converting project opportunities within the marketplace to maintain and improve market share.
  • Identifying market and competitor information and feeding it back to the business in order to ensure market requirements and competitor developments are incorporated into marketing and product plans.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • We’re looking for a sales professional who shares our passion for the floor covering sector; its products and trends.
  • You’ll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to take this amazing brand and build both excitement and commitment amongst customers.
  • Being out on the road means you’ll need to be self-reliant and self-motivated, but we’d like you to be a great team player too!
  • A strong team ethos and encourage all colleagues to work together to provide the best experience for our customers.

About You:
  • We’re looking for a proven sales professional who has experience within the housebuilder and developer sector.
  • You will have experience managing national and regional key accounts ideally within the commercial interiors sector or the building products or DIY markets.
  • You’ll need to be organised, structured and conscientious in how you approach your business planning, customer visits, reporting and follow-up activity.

Salary:
  • £55,000 Basic, Great Bonus, Benefits, Car

Location:
  • London, Essex, Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire.
