About the Role:

The overall purpose of the role is to support a team of Underwriters and ensure an excellent level of service and communication, whilst developing into a full underwriter with training.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist Underwriters.
- Communicate and build relationships with brokers.
- Retrieve data for Underwriters as requested.
- Deal with incoming quotation enquiries.
- Maintain underwriting documentation.
- Process new business and renewals.
- Data entry.
- Develop underwriting knowledge.
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Some personal lines or commercial insurance experience desirable.
- Computer literate.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive.
- Organisation skills.
- An appetite for achievement and building a career within the insurance market.
